Buyer protection

Safeguards built for card collectors

Buying secondhand cards from Japan carries real risks. These are the checks and habits we use to reduce them — explained honestly, with no false promises.

What we do to protect your order

Practical safeguards at each stage, from purchase to delivery.

Seller-risk screening

Before higher-value orders we review the seller's rating count, positive percentage, negative reviews and listing details. A strong reputation lowers risk but never removes it — secondhand condition still follows the seller's photos and description.

Photo inspection before shipping

On request we photograph your actual card — front, back, corners and surface — before anything leaves our Japan warehouse, so you can review condition before international shipping. Recommended for graded, sealed and high-value cards.

TCG-safe packaging

Cards ship in sleeves, toploaders and rigid mailers; graded slabs get reinforced packing. We pack to TCG standards to protect corners and edges, though no packaging can guarantee zero transit damage.

Consolidated shipping

Buy from several sellers or marketplaces and we receive everything at our Japan warehouse, then combine it into one parcel to the U.S. — fewer packages, less postage, lower handling risk.

Transparent estimated fees

Service fee, domestic and international shipping are shown as estimates before you order, and your exact itemized total is confirmed at checkout. See the Fees page for the full breakdown.

Tracking & insurance options

Shipments go out with tracking, and insurable shipping methods are available at checkout. Insurance compensation is capped at the declared value, which we always declare honestly.

What we won't promise

TCG buyers deserve straight talk. Beware of any proxy that guarantees these things.

We don't certify authenticity or grade

We buy the exact item as listed. A card's grade is the grading company's call, and authenticity ultimately depends on the seller and grader — not us. We are not a grading or authentication service.

We can't certify a sealed box is factory-original

Sealed products carry a known secondhand risk of resealing or being weighed and searched. We can request extra photos of shrink-wrap, seams and weight and prioritize reputable sellers, but we can't guarantee a box is untouched.

We don't promise no customs or lowest price

We never promise a tax-free import or the lowest price anywhere, and we don't under-declare value. For high-value cards we'll flag the risks before buying so you can decide.

Buy with fewer surprises

Start with seller-screened listings and request photo inspection on the cards that matter most.
